On Day 2 we went to the Australian War Memorial where we learnt many new facts about WW1 and WW2 and saw the incredible artifacts and displays in the Military Museum. We also drove down the Anzac Parade Walk and saw lots of different war monuments. We spent the evening at Questacon, which was so much fun! With over 200 educational and interactive exhibits Questacon seeks to make science fun for all. We enjoyed falling down a 6 metre slide, experiencing an earthquake and challenging a robot to a game of air hockey!
Our final day was also action packed. We visited the National Capital Exhibition and learnt a lot about the beginnings and history of Canberra. Finally we visited Parliament house where we got to visit the House of Representations and the Senate. We even got to take part in a role play where we learnt a lot about how Bills are passed.
Then it was off to the airport for our flight home to Adelaide. We had a fantastic time in Canberra and we have many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.
